In 2001, I began teaching Theater Arts with El Campo Middle School. After 20 years of teaching theater, I decided to teach US History and I am currently teaching 6th grade Reading.
Prior to teaching in El Campo, I taught Theater Arts in Wharton, Texas at the Junior High School from 1997-2001.
I have been married for 25 years and my husband and I both graduated from El Campo. We have 3 children and a daughter-in-law. Our oldest son is married and he is a graduate of Texas A&M and graduated from El Campo High School. Our middle daughter graduated from El Campo High School and is currently a Sophomore at Texas A&M, and our youngest daughter is a Junior at El Campo High School.
When I am not teaching I love to go to deercamp, exercise, cook and spend time with my family as much as possible. I love the outdoors, the beach, any river that we can lounge in, and soaking up the moments of every day.
